WKC Film Festival

Set in the rolling hills at the heart of Upstate New York’s Delaware County, The West Kortright Center Film Festival celebrates films of the arts, music & live performance, and rural & farming culture of the Catskills and around the world. 

Dates: August 23-25, 2024

Formats: Short films of all genres under 45 minutes in length.

Subjects: As an arts center serving a rich rural and farming community, The West Kortright Center Film Festival gives special consideration to local films and works that explore and celebrate country life in our communities and around the world. That said, we are also open to all types of filmic expression, narrative, experimental, and documentary from anywhere and everywhere.

Screenings & Panel discussions will take place at the historic West Kortright Center in East Meredith, New York.

Reception Opening reception and closing night awards ceremony will be held at the Center. 

Filmmaker Talkbacks/Q&As & Panel Discussions – opportunities to hear from filmmakers and panel discussions on craft and the business of filmmaking will take place each day of the festival.

Tickets — A Festival Pass giving access to all the films is $40, Tickets for individual blocks of the program are $10. Saturday morning screening of the Inventor is FREE. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the box office.

Food & Drinks and snacks will be for sale during the breaks.
